Albert A. Robinson & Loreen P. Brenneis
Albert A. Robinson
Bert graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1979. He had attended College St. Jean, the bilingual faculty of the U of A to study philosophy and liberal arts in 1972. He graduated from the U of A with an honors degree in economics in 1976. He also holds a graduate degree in biblical studies, world religions and theology.
Bert articled to Douglas C. Weetman in Stony Plain in 1979. In 1980 he joined the firm of Peterson Ross in Spruce Grove/Edmonton. There he concentrated on civil litigation, appearing in various courts in Alberta. In 1981 he formed a partnership with Randal C. Heil in Spruce Grove. While there, he continued his practice, but expanded to corporate, real estate, mortgages and wills and estates. Bert also has acted for countless farmers assisting them with various aspects of legal issues that impact them. He has a vast number of seniors who look to him for advice regularly.
In 1990 Bert started Robinson & Co. in Spruce Grove. He has continued as a general practice law firm with the support of several associates including Loreen Brenneis.
Bert has advised many families, businesses and charitable organizations (many on a pro bono basis) over the years. His goal is to continue to assist clients who need legal services in a timely, professional and economical way.
Loreen P. Brenneis
Loreen graduated in 1995 from the University of Alberta and received her Bachelor of Laws with Distinction. She articled with the law firm Emery Jamieson and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta on July 26, 1996. Loreen has a diverse practice, which includes collaborative family law, divorce, stepparent adoptions, pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, real estate transactions including purchase, sale and refinancing as well as wills and estates. She finds it rewarding to assist families with many aspects of the law throughout the generations. Her goal is to continue to utilize unique solutions to assist clients in financial concerns.
Loreen became a Partner in the fall of 2023 and the firm now operates as Robinson Brenneis LLP.
